International Consortium of Water Researchers - ICWR, a non-profit consortium, established on June 5, 2020 - World Environment Day with an objective to connect water based researchers and scientists working all over the world. It is started by two young water research professionals of India. It is promoted and supported by International and National Advisory Committee members of various research and educational institutions across the globe. ICWR operates with the interest towards enriching knowledge among the global citizens at four different stages: WATER FELLOWS; WATER EXPERTS; YOUNG PROFESSIONALS; STUDENT MEMBERS; ICWR does this through organizing webinar series, training and workshops on water based modelling and annual virtual conferences. We also further our objective by operating effectively among the water based research aspirants at all levels.

To educate and enrich the importance of Water among the Society through the contributions of Scientific Experts and Young professionals.
OUR POLICY
ICWR works on basis of two ancient proverbs on Tamil Literature: "திரைகடல் ஓடியும் திரவியம் தேடு" (Run across boundaries in search of knowledge and wisdom) and "யாதும் ஊரே யாவரும் கேளிர்" (To us all towns are one, all men our kin). Interest towards nature and science paves the way to reach the destiny of wisdom. The motto of ICWR events and contest are to promote the awareness and enrich the knowledge on the beautiful resource "WATER"
